Kitschiness is the core of this art project, cheesy as those old black-and-white Mexican wrestling movies, retro Bollywood music videos, and pretty bad low-budget productions that were so bad that were so good, so naive and harmless that they make you feel good.
The purpose of the Retrofuturista Art Project is to evoke this same feeling of charm and make you feel good.
