BLACK SHADOW (1921–2007)
 
Alejandro Cruz Ortiz, known by the ring name Black Shadow, was a Mexican professional wrestler and actor. 
By 1950, he had already gained fame as Black Shadow. Known as The Rubber Man for his impressive elasticity, he was also known as The Black Prince due to his attire almost entirely black. Together with Blue Demon, they would form one of the most legendary duos in Mexican wrestling, The Shadow Brothers. Black Shadow participated in several wrestling films during the golden age of wrestling films in Mexico. The rivalry with the legendary Santo, (the Silver Masked Man), would reach its peak on November 7, 1953, in a mask-versus-mask match. Santo won, stripping him of his mask, revealing his true identity as Alejandro Cruz Ortiz.
