This artwork is inspired by the traditional Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and influenced by the East L.A. Chicano culture, particularly Lowrider cars. It is a tribute to some of the characters who have contributed to the concept of the Retrofuturista Art Project.
