EL RAYO DE JALISCO (1932–2018)
 
Was an iconic Mexican Luchador (professional wrestler) debuting in 1950, Rayo de Jalisco had various names, starting with Míster Misterio and later appearing under the name Águila Negra (Black Eagle). Also in 1960, he appeared under the name El Rayo, and in 1962, he finally introduced himself as Rayo de Jalisco, wearing his trademark black mask with a lightning bolt on his face. 
A movie star in films alongside other famous masked wrestlers, Rayo de Jalisco fought Blue Demon, who came out of retirement to face El Rayo de Jalisco in a mask-vs-mask match, in which he was defeated, revealing his identity as Maximino “Max” Linares Moreno. In 1996, he was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame.
